A Sara Langdon Showcase
We are delighted to bring to you “Vista” a showcase of delightful small works by the very talented Sara Langdon.
Sara’s signature style is much loved by many of you and it is easy to see why. The sensitive way she meticulously captures well loved vistas and landscapes is breathtaking.
“Vista” is a collection of exquisitely painted small works on board and paper and introduces a new direction for Sara - the stitched paintings.“Summer Walk I” & Summer Walk II” have been hand painted on linen and stitched by Sara & then boxed framed with non reflective glass and the results are truely wonderful. All the works in this showcase can viewed in the gallery from today and are also available on our online gallery.
“Vista” is showing until 5 June, and works can collected as they are purchased.
We are over the moon to share with you that we know represent the very talented Lester Hall.
A print-maker from Wellington whose art packs a political punch! Lester has immersed himself in New Zealand's rich history and the vibrant mix of Maori, European, and Pacific cultures through thought-provoking pieces.
Describing himself as an outsider artist and social commentator, Lester forms his art through conversation with himself. In the past, he has worked as a design and display technician with a major collection of Maori and Pacific artifacts at the Auckland Institute and Museum - which no doubt contributes greatly to the topic of national identity and personal philosophy that inspires his prints.
Head to Lester's page to see his collection of iconic works.
