We think about colour differently at Atelier Ellis. We believe colour should tell the unique story of place and those that live, eat or rest within.
We know that colour and choosing colour becomes an intimate part of life at home, and as a memory marker in the future. Everyone has their own personal palette – always in their mind, but hopefully also in their physical space.
With our founder Cassandra Ellis leading, we work on commercial and larger scale domestic projects – with interior designers, architects, developers and civic groups – helping you tell stories of home and place.
We craft palettes in partnership with art galleries and museums to frame exhibitions and displays in atmospheric and harmonious ways. Composing unique schemes, including bespoke colours and palettes. Choosing existing colours from our current palette of 120 shades, commissioning a completely bespoke palette or creating a unique story combining the two.
We provide guidance on materials and finishes and full colour specifications, to deliver a seamless service.
Our unique palette and human-centric approach creates cohesive and considered results that enhance interiors beautifully, whether in domestic and public spaces or commercial environments.

Residential Colour Advice
We work with homeowners to develop a unique, emotive story for your home through our beautiful colours and paint.
Our townhouse store in Bath is open Tuesday - Saturday. and our team are happy to advise on colours and finishes. We carry all colour samples and can also mix paint in the store.

For Bath and surrounding areas, our expertise and advice is £150 per hour VAT inclusive. One hour is usually enough time to discuss three-four rooms, depending on the complexity and scale of your space. Further time can be booked in 30-minute increments.
For London (Zones 1-4), our expertise and advice is £300 for 1 1/2 hours VAT inclusive. This is usually enough time to discuss four-five rooms, depending on the complexity and scale of your space. Further time can be booked in 30-minute increments.
Your personal appointment is invoiced at the time of booking and a pre-questionnaire is sent to make sure we can provide you with the best service on the day. Afterwards we will send you a full paint specification and any paint orders associated enjoy a 10% discount.
